Pink & Green Party Plans...

I haven't been blogging much the last week or so and I think it is because I have lots and lots of things to do preparing for DD's Sweet 16 Party! And YES, YES, YES she wanted a "preppy" pink and green theme for this soiree'....aren't I just the luckiest Mom? So, currently my dining room has become Party Planning Central. I thought I would snap a photo of some of the things that we are using for the decorations. (The Ribbon Topiaries were an idea from another blog...isn't blogland the bestest?) Of course, I will snap lots and lots of photos once the event actually happens so you can get the full visual to include lots and lots of pink and green balloons. Fortunately, I have been so busy that I haven't gotten melancholy about this big milestone yet...y'all pray for me because I know it will be bittersweet.

Absolutely the cutest! We have to have instructions for the topiaries please, please, please. I would love to do that for DD's birthday next year! I can't wait to see more pictures and get more ideas.

I like them so much I'm commenting again... I think I *may* have figured out in my head how you make these, but definitely want your instructions! I think a How-to post is in order! ;-)

Hi! You don't know me, but I found a comment by you on southern living - with a link to a website showing how to make the magnolias out of balloons. My husband's grandmother made these before she died & I always wanted to know how she made them. The link no longer exists - so I didn't know if you remembered how to do them or know where I can get the info. I love your blog :) My mom is originally from Atlanta.

You are the best mom ever! I am totally loving those ribbon topiaries. OK...you may have to share how you made those. They are too cute. I hope it went well. I am sure I will be a big baby over my girls turning 16 (thankfully I have a while to deal with that.)

Hope it went well!
